The Pat McGee Trail north of Salamanca. Pat McGee was a New York State legislator with a soft spot in his heart for rail-trails. He spent some taxpayer dollars to help some people build rail-trails, including this one. Instead of naming it after the taxpayers, though, they named it after Pat McGee.
